FAQ

Straight answers.

The questions people ask at the desk, on Instagram and in the chat.

Is Boom a CrossFit gym?

No — and it's the question we get most. Boom is coached functional circuit training and functional bodybuilding on a weekly split. Our coaches have 10+ years of CrossFit and Olympic lifting experience, so the coaching is serious; there's no leaderboard, no Rx, and every class is scaled to you.

What's the weekly split?

Monday legs. Tuesday chest and shoulders. Wednesday active rest / full-body circuit. Thursday legs with a glute and hamstring focus. Friday back, biceps and triceps. Saturday full-body circuit, cardio and HYROX-style work. Advanced lifting sessions run Tuesday and Wednesday.

When are the trainer-led classes?

Monday–Friday 6–10am and 5–6:30pm, Saturday 8:30–9:30am, at both gyms. Members have 24/7 door-code access outside class hours.

How does the free week work?

Book your first class and every trainer-led class that week is open to you, free, no card. We do a week instead of a single class because of the split — you should see more than one day.

What are the kidcare hours?

Monday–Friday 8–10am at both gyms, included with Unlimited. No kidcare on Saturday yet; hours extend as we grow.

What does Unlimited include?

Every trainer-led class at both gyms, 24/7 open-gym access, weekday kidcare, the nutrition plan with coach check-ins, and the member app with the daily workout.

Is there a contract?

No. Every plan is month-to-month. Cancel or freeze from the app or by text.

Can I use both gyms?

Yes — one membership, Lehi and Pleasant Grove.

I've never trained before. Is this for me?

Most members started exactly there. A coach is with you the whole class and every movement has an easier version.

What if I'm traveling?

The workout of the day is posted in the app every morning, so you can do it from any gym or a hotel.

Do you have showers?

Yes — private showers at both locations.

What should I bring to my first class?

Water and shoes you can move in. Everything else is on us.
